Darwin's theory of evolution states that only the strongest survive, but what happens when extinction of a species occurs? How About when a species become critically endangered? The top ten critically endangered species in our world today are the Giant Panda, Javan Rhinoceros, Monarch Butterfly, Mountain Gorilla, Bluefin Tuna, Leatherback Turtle, Magellanic Penguin, Pacific Walrus, Polar Bear, and the Tiger. 10 species that have become extinct are the Baiji River Dolphin, Tecopa Pupfish, Javan Tiger, Bubal Hatebeest, Pyrenean Ibex, Caribbean Monk Seal, Golden Toad, Passenger Pigeon, Quagga, and the Tasmanian Tiger.
I believe this is one of the most important issues in our world because with out genetic diversity of species or world becomes less varied. I agree that only the strongest survive but as a human being, the most greedy and selfish species on this planet, we are speeding and possibly causing the extinction process to happen. Also now that these 10 animals have disappeared how has the environment where they use to live been affected. What effect has their absence caused to our world.
good topic for sure. maybe focus on one of the species to make your point. as well there was one or two spelling mistakes but otherwise i agree with you
ReplyDeleteThis is a really important issue and you did a really good job at expressing how it is. I agree with all your points too, overall great blog.
